The Orora Beverage Group received a $12.5 million grant from the Federal Government under the Modern Manufacturing Initiative – Manufacturing Translation Stream, recycling and Clean Energy Program with the objective of accelerating the development and commercialization of low emissions technologies.
Since 2000, when the current site was still a barley field Debtech has provided project management and Superintendent services to Orora, including for the construction of the three furnaces, buildings, and site development. Our team were actively involved in the construction of this plant which increases the recycled glass content of glass beverage containers manufactured at the Gawler (SA) manufacturing facility.
Debtech continues to provide services for many Orora projects including Automatic Warehousing (AGV systems), robotic laser cleaning systems and furnace rebuilds for the G1 and G2 glass furnaces.
