Multi Sports Field

Debtech were appointed by Ivanhoe Grammar School to provide project and contract management services to the School for the design and construction of the new multipurpose field at their Plenty Campus.  The project was partly funded by the Australian Federal Government’s National Pride Stimulus Package.

The project included construction of a one megalitre dam for storm water harvesting underneath the oval.  Water is gathered from storm water run-off from school buildings and diverted to the dam.  This water is used to water gardens and grassed areas across the Campus.  Synthetic turf has been fitted across the entire oval and caters for a number of sporting events.  When the School holds large functions, part of the oval is capable of being used as a car park.
